The software developer has been testing ChatGPT for several months, the source added, even though its Bing service is much less popular than Alphabet Inc.’s leading Google search engine. Employees at Google questioned CEO Sundar Pichai and head of AI research Jeff Dean about the chatbot’s potential threat to the company last month.
